Robotics Production Technician Training Program
NRTC offers preparation courses for the student that wants to improve his or her career skills and prepare for certification without college admission or college credit. Preparation courses for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) assessments and for the National Robotics Training Center (NRTC) Certified Robotics Production Technician (CRPT) are presented in an on-line, instructor led format using the Desire 2 Learn learning management system (LMS). Explanation of the certification is found in the Certification System tab.
Register for the courses, prefixed NRTC, for Continuing Education Units through the Continuing Education Department at Florence-Darlington Technical College.

Each student that successfully completes the program will:
- Receive a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificate from Florence-Darlington Technical College
- Be prepared to take the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) exams
- Be prepared to take the National Robotics Training Center (NRTC) Certified Robotics Production Technician (CRPT) exams
Each class:
- Includes guidance from an on-line instructor
- Uses text books for each courses
- Uses a lab manual for the hands-on lab
- Uses hands-on lab equipment using the VEX educational robotics platform
